about

Hola amigos!

I’m Natalie, 20 years old and I am currently studying International Business Management at the Berlin School of Economics and Law. My classes are all teached in English and one of the courses I am undertaking is Business Applications. For latter, we’re supposed to design and create a blog on a topic of our choice. Since I’ve been living in Spain, namely on Tenerife, for half a year  in order to work there as an aupair and obviously to improve my Spanish skills, I decided that sharing my fascination for the Spanish culture and language with you would be the best choice to provide you an interesting and readworthy blog.

During my time in Spain, I was able to have an incredibly wide and authentic insight into the Spanish customs. My host family frequently took me to typical Spanish events and invited me  for dinner in “taparias”, where I learned to love and appreciate the Spanish atmosphere and lifestyle.

In my opinion, the best you can do in your life is to get to know as many languages, cultures and people as possible, because only with an openminded attitude you can survive in a multinational, globalized world. You will learn to tolerate but also to criticize to you unknown or unusual traditions and behaviours.

Broadening your horizon is the key to success!!!

I hope I managed to get you interested and curious about Spain, with all what it implies!

Aproveche! Enjoy!

Natalie
